In collaboration with David Gilberto Olguin, AHEC's Director of Cultural and Community Engagement, we set out to create a visual identity for Ninth Street Historic Park that honors the legacy of the displaced Aurarians while celebrating the park's significance within the metropolitan area. This project is rooted in gratitude and aims to engage local communities in exploring the park’s rich heritage through a visual cohesive narrative.

At the start of the project, my partner and I developed a mind map that would identify and refine the core ideas essentail to shaping the brandmark. From there, we honed in on the key concepts that would define the brand’s identity. We centered our focus on three pivotal themes—Connection, Place, and Heritage—which became the foundation of the brandmark’s story.
